Speaker, Presenter, and Facilitator Database
The Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA) is a recognized and respected source for professional development and networking in the career development field. As such we regularly receive requests from speakers, presenters, and facilitators to be considered for opportunities to engage with our members. The CDAA is proud to host the Alberta Career Development Conference (ACDC) each spring and Ignite Your Passion each fall in addition to a variety of in person and online professional development and networking events throughout the year.
While the selection of speakers, presenters, and facilitators for ACDC is coordinated through a Call for Presenter Proposals process we do identify and select speakers, presenters, and facilitators for our other in person and online events more informally. The themes and topics for these events are determined by committees and speakers, presenters, and facilitators are selected according to a variety of criteria including relevance to theme / topic, experience, affordability, accessibility, testimonials, and general fit as determined by the committee. The CDAA does not put out a specific call for these events however does draw from a growing database of interested individuals and also reaches out to specific individuals who have been identified by committee members.
In order to accept and retain interested speaker, presenter, and facilitator information for consideration we have created a standardized submission form with general information about you and your areas of expertise. Once you have submitted your information it will be added to our database of potential speakers, presenters, and facilitators for consideration when the need arises. Please note that your application is not being considered for a specific event but rather to create a database of interested speakers, presenters, and facilitators. If you are being considered for a specific event you will be contacted by a committee member for additional information.
